I live in New York but my Dad and I have been using Target in San Juan when we visit PR since at least the 80's. We have NEVER had a problem with them and I see they have expanded their locations throughout the island. I returned the car a day early yesterday and I did not have to request a refund: they just gave it to me. They didn't have anyone to drive the shuttle to the airport so they called me an Uber! Who does that? 'Read the reviews online of many of the car rental agencies. I don't know if they are accurate but many of them are bad. I read that there are many add on charges and some agencies don't let you know until you pick up your car. I did not have that problem: their price included all charges. They would have taken my insurance but my car is older than 2018 so I had to add their insurance but it was like $10 a day. Through the reviews, I learned that MANY AGENCIES REQUIRE A DECLARATION PAGE FROM YOUR INSURANCE if you don't want to buy insurance. PLEASE CHECK THE RULES BEFORE YOU BOOK ONLINE WITH ANY AGENCY IN PR AND CONFIRM WITH THE AGENCY BEFORE YOU BOOK. I hope this saves you some time, money and a headache. PR is a very special place and you don't need to start your visit with a hassle or disappointment.

Very well priced and excellent, friendly staff. We got a ride from the Ceiba ferry to their office (5 min) and a ride back to the ferry. Carlos the manger is very professional and went above and beyond Very convenient and we’ll ensure to do it again. Highly recommend!

Very smooth experience. The vehicle we rented was a 2023 model in great condition. When we returned the car and needed a ride to the airport, their shuttle wasn’t available, so they paid for an Uber for us.

First time experience, and it was fantastic. Everything was so smooth. At the return of the truck, it was downpour rain, and Paula, who speaks perfect English, called us an Uber, and to top it all, the driver Luis was exceptional. Thank you so much, guys, for an awesome experience.

I reserved a car for a day a couple of months in advance and it was $134 with full insurance ($0 deducible) and a child seat during peak Dec end season. The pickup and drop off was very smooth about 10-15 min each time, and the car was in good condition. The $150 deposit was refunded back in a couple of days since there was no damage to the car or tolls used. Highly recommended for the price and availability.

Best rental experience ever! They picked us up via shuttle, had our car in ten minutes. 13 days later we returned the vehicle and were in the shuttle for the airport in about ten minutes. So very nice!!! Highly recommend!

I was able to call Apple to Mayra do a reservation without any problems. Upon my arrival able to contact the 2 gentleman front desk Mr. Khali and Antonio they Were professional awesome attitude show me all step need to know about rent the car at Target. I've rented before in Ponce, and was not happy. Other companies have dirty or stained car that smelled like cigarettes. Shirley was excellent in addressing a mistake that I made by renting in another location. She also made made sure that the car was spotless and went out of her way to provide an excellent experience. The whole staff was very professional. I highly recommend this location.

This was one of the best rentals we've ever experienced. The staff was so nice, the price was great, the car was super new and clean and fuel efficient and Target doesn't have outrageous toll policies like other car rentals.

Target Rent A Car and Alvaro in Bayamon were my earth angels during my recent triptoPR.I had made a reservation with another rental. I lost my license, and ahead called to confirm I could still rent with a digital CA license to which they said yes. I get to PR at 4am and I am told I can't rent a car. At that time I am left to figure it out with my 2 dogs.
Next day in a random way I get to connect with Alvaro who said they accept my digital license. They even picked me up. The car was great, and with insurance I ended paying about the same as the rental I had which didn't include insurance. Needless to say, you guys have earned new customers in me, my family and friends. I've shared my story with friends here during my stay. You guys were the difference during this short trip I planned with a lot of effort. I was looking forward to visiting my island after 9 years, and Target Rent A Car saved my trip. I am planning to visit later this year and you bet I'll used them again. Thank you Alvaro and Target.
